The Egg Harbor Township boys basketball team has high hopes for turning things around this winter after a 6-21 showing a year ago, and the Eagles certainly have the talent to do just that. Jorden Sanchious is a senior forward and although he may not score a ton of points this year, his defensive and rebounding presence on the low blocks is going to be a key to the Eagles’ success. This is a team that is guard heavy, so EHT will need consistent contributions out of guys like Sanchious if the Eagles are going to be a threat in the Cape-Atlantic League.
Staff Writer Dave O’Sullivan caught up with Sanchious after the Eagles cruised past Mainland, 78-54, in their season opener earlier this week. Sanchious and the Eagles have a tough matchup on the road tonight in Atlantic City.
