Staff Report

(Editor’s Note: Throughout the school year South Jersey Glory Days will be giving fans a quick insight into the lives of area athletes with our segment called “5 Questions” where we ask student-athletes a few random questions about the sports they play, their lives, pop culture or anything else that pops into our heads!)

The Mainland Regional High boys lacrosse team is off to a 6-2 start this season after today’s 15-6 win over Lenape, and one of the big reasons for the Mustangs’ early success is the play of senior Harrison LaMonaca. He scored five goals against the Indians, giving him 29 for the season and 143 for his career. He also has 50 career assists.

He’s averaging nearly four goals per game as Mainland has defeated Lower Cape May, Cherry Hill East, Holy Spirit, St. Joseph Academy, Woodstown and Lenape. The Mustangs’ only losses have come to state-ranked Kingsway, 11-10, and St. Augustine, 16-3.
