Williamstown typically isn’t known as a girls basketball powerhouse, but this past winter the Braves took a huge step forward and Iriona Gravley was at the center of it all.
The Braves won the Tri-County Conference’s Royal Division title, posted 21 wins and advanced all the way to the South Jersey Group 4 championship game before falling to Lenape.
Gravley had a monster senior season, scoring 509 points while adding 333 rebounds and 50 blocked shots. A force on the low blocks, Gravley was nearly unstoppable in the paint, recording 22 double-doubles, including a stretch of 13 games in a row in which she scored at least 10 points and had at least 10 rebounds.
She finished her career with 1,414 points, 946 rebounds and 141 blocked shots.
