He may have the coolest name in South Jersey high school sports, but Amir Reason-Dallas was much more than just cool. He was dominant.
He started out his career as a freshman nose guard but eventually evolved into a hard-hitting middle linebacker and running back who dished out as many hits as he took.
He had 599 rushing yards as a senior and finished his career with nearly 1,000 yards, and that was his secondary position.
As a linebacker, Reason-Dallas made some kids think about quitting football altogether.
As a senior, Reason-Dallas racked up an almost unbelievable 159 tackles, including 92 of the solo variety, and he had 22 tackles-for-loss. He finished with 311 tackles, and also was an outstanding wrestler, placing at the state tournament in the 190-pound weight class.
