Artists Walk, located off West Jersey Avenue in Mays Landing, is a new development by Don Paparone Inc. that will feature 124 homes, and homeowners have six different floor plans to choose from. (Glory Days Magazine photo/Dave O’Sullivan) On what she likes most about her job: It’s a great job to be able to sell someone their home. I love new construction. Once you buy new, it doesn’t compare to a resale, I think. It’s a wonderful feeling. It’s a stressful period for (new homeowners), not so much the construction part but more their financing and things like that. It’s nice to be able to hand them their keys to a house that they put together. They picked out everything in it, so it’s nice to see every stage of it and then to see the final product. On her memories from West Deptford High: I knew that I wanted to be in real estate and do something like this, even at that age. I remember going to football games on Friday nights, the basketball games, things like that. On what it was like being a mom of teenagers: My kids were all pretty good when they were teenagers. They listened and did what they were supposed to do, so I didn’t have many problems. On what the future holds for Don Paparone, Inc.: We want to sell out this (Artists Walk) community. It’s in a great location. We’re not far from shopping, but we’re kind of secluded. It’s not going to be a huge community, only 124 homes. All of the homes back to trees, and (Don) builds a great house. He has a great reputation and has always built in the South Jersey area. [adsense]
